Selling, Buying and Selling

26 of October was the day the students of St Pats have had been waiting for since the beginning of term 4. Mission Day.

The purpose of Mission day is for the kids to raise money for an orphanage in India. Us kids do this by collecting money from the stall that we make up(raffles, games, lollies and so much more).

Students all came to school with different types of clothes, because Mission day is Mufti.
When the first bell rang kids ( not including me of course) ran to class to be the early birds at mass which started at 9:00 AM.
Lining up at the parish was chaos with a capital ‘K’, if you know what I mean. After all the kids sat down, Father Roach began his sermon (sermon starting  time 9:00 AM. Sermon ending time 9:40-50 AM).

After the long mass ended we went down to the bottom court for our famous coin trail. It didn’t go as planned because there wasn’t as much coins to fill the whole of the letters. Mrs Bullot announced that the stalls would be starting straight after morning tea.

My group was scheduled to do something called mysteries incorporated but we weren’t so prepared because half of our group decided to go off and do something else, like Tricia was the first to quit as she wanted to sell lollies with Luisa. So I was stuck with selling ‘jack's magic beans’ ,  but it was fun as I shouted really loud and got lots of customers. I was feeling bummed out(because my group didn't do our stall) and happy at the same time because I was selling something.

At the end of the day, rooms 5 and 7 went over to room 8 to watch a movie. I didn’t really watch the movie because I was so exhausted.
After the movie was over, we went over to room 3 and 4 to find the raffle results and I was sure I was going to win but the raffle box didn’t think so.
We finally lined up to go home but I just wanted to sit and sleep, because my day was very big.
