Something in the water

I recommend "Something In The Water" by the St Patrick's Year 7/8 classes. I loved the concept of the movie and the story line.
It has great humour and an interesting storyline which was very cool. The acting from the kids looked like it belonged in the big screen. Their costume was good made sense, like the swim teacher wearing a Hawaiian shirt. Everybody spoke with confidence which was really good. My rating 5/5. : )

Junior Master chef Saint Patrick's

On the 16th of May 2012, Room 7 and I were on our way to the bus where we were met by Robert because we were going to our first lesson of Technicraft. I could tell that some people were intimidated and/or a little bit scared because we were going to a college with people and teachers we have never met before. When we arrived at Edgewater College it was t heir break time so they started looking at all of Room 7, I’m pretty sure they were saying ‘‘What are little kids doing at our College.’’ We were able to make it to the front door of the kitchen alive, where we were met by Mrs Scott, our cooking teacher. She told us to get into alphabetical order so she could figure out our cooking units. I was put in an all girls group so I was the only boy. The groups consisted of: UNIT 1: Tricia, Christian, Yom and Joanna UNIT 2: Ethan, David, Gabby and Audrey UNIT 3: Angelina, Frankie, Vitor and Nikki UNIT 7: Manase, Tevita and Taniela The girls decided that I was going to be the leader of the group so I got to choose who does what. Mrs Scott told 1 person from each group to come and get 3 pieces of cloth: 1 to dry your hands, 1 to wipe the sink and 1 to dry the sink. Mrs Scott told us that we were going to be making double choc muffins. Angelina really wanted to spray the tray with Budget non-stick® oil so she got to do it. We all got to do an instruction and I helped out the most. When it was time to spoon the mixture into the tray, Nikki couldn’t do it right so we all did a little bit of spooning. No one wanted to put the chocolate chips into the already spooned mixture so Angelina and I did that instruction. without thinking Nikki shot up her hands and said that she wanted to pop the muffin tray into the oven, nobody disagreed because we were too scared to burned. we waited for what seemed like an eternity (but was really on 30 minutes) for the muffins to bake properly. when they finally were ready to take it out of the oven, and guess who had to take it out, moi ( me in French) It was finally time to try out our muffins and it was......… perfect!
